Coinbase announces plans to list Ethereum Classic $ETC
Ethereum Classic $ETC will be on Coinbase exchange.
After announcing that they are going to expand into other coins Coinbase exchange began rolling out its plans. The first to be listed on their shiny new Coinbase Pro platform will be an old relic $ETC Ethereum Classic. The original Ethereum. Ethereum Classic is a cryptocurrency that was the result of a hard fork of the Ethereum network in July 2016.
This announcement on Twiter was made on Monday, June 11th 6:18 PM Pacific time. Quickly the price shot up up and away on a green day, right after a really bad red day a day prior where almost all coins were in double digit negative.
In addition Binance opened up a ETC/USDT pair and ETC/BNB adding even more fuel to the fire and getting that nice trade volume.

This is the first time Coinbase listed a coin since Bitcoin Cash during the winter madness on December 19th.
The official date of the listing is not yet announced.

What coins will be added next?
Coinbase have previously announced our intention to support the ERC20 technical standard and Bitcoin forks. They will announce the intention to add specific assets within those categories prior to final engineering integration.
